This Privacy Policy describes how www.saltandlavenderclothing.com (“Salt & Lavender Clothing”, the “Site”, “we”, “our”, “us” or “store”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site. When you purchase something from our Site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect personal information you provide such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. As you go through checkout, this Site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

We use your personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace, Inc. They provide use with online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. Squarespace website traffic is encrypted via SSL providing a secure end to end connection for visitors.

SECTION 8 - PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Squarespace stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
