Sip, Shop, and Connect: A Recap of Our Launch Event

A few days have passed since the launch of Salt & Lavender Clothing, marked by our Sip & Shop event. The idea of launching a Sip & Shop at my home originated from my desire to make more connections in my local community. My goal was to create an opportunity for both old and new friends to come together, enjoy yummy treats and a bit of shopping.

The event drew a wonderful mix of attendees, including long-time friends, acquaintances of friends, people from my past, neighbors, and even some new faces.

We had an impressive charcuterie board, delectable macarons, and, of course, mimosas to complete the experience.

While I was mostly occupied with checking out customers, I had the chance to see people who were strangers to each other mingling, engaging in conversations, and giving each other feedback on styles. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with conversations flowing well.

The entire day my adrenaline was sky high from all the excitement! It was a fantastic way to build new friendships and connections in a relaxed setting, truly filling my bucket and making all the effort worthwhile.

Several people have asked if I’ll be offering additional Sip & Shops in the future. The answer is YES! I hope to offer at least 3 to 4 Sip & Shop events a year and I look forward to strengthening connections and welcoming others.

If you attended our first Sip & Shop, we’d love to hear from you! Please share your positive comments or suggestions for improving future events in the comments section below. Thank you for supporting our small business.
